Improv: Introduction to 5 Skills - 4552
Description: This introductory improv class will hone your skills in areas that are key to good improv and to living a positive, productive and playful life. Led by academic and experienced improviser Julian Frid, students will drill exercises that enrich listening (the words people say, the inflection, the body language), which leads to better acceptance (realizing the reality positively), and to a stronger appreciation for different values and points of view. After these exercises, students will jam out scenes and enjoy each others' creativity in a space that is only limited by people's imagination, and Julian's teaching boundaries. Instructor: Julian Frid NOTE: Deadline to withdraw from this class is 5:00 pm on February 5th. A $15 withdrawal fee applies.
