Digital Video Editing with Final Cut Pro: An Introduction - 3441
Description: This class will demonstrate the basic components of Final Cut Pro editing software. Students will learn how to create a project, how to capture footage, how to organize their media, how to use the workspace effectively, and all the basic cutting techniques they need to get started on their own projects. The Wednesday sessions will consist of a lecture and demonstration of the software. During the Saturday sessions students will each have a one-hour hands-on session, to be scheduled the first day. Students are encouraged to use Final Cut Pro on their own time between sessions to get the most from the class.
