Hart House Camera Club goes to Black Creek Pioneer Village
When: Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 10:00 AM
Where: Black Creek Pioneer Village (meet at Hart House)
We will be spending the day at Black Creek Pioneer Village, an historic 19th century community. With period buildings and artifacts, live animals, and interpreters, you’ll be able to take stunning (and modern!) photos of representations of the daily life in the Toronto area during the 1800s!
For more information on Black Creek Village, visit http://www.blackcreek.ca.
We will be leaving from Hart House at 10 am on Saturday, November 3 or you can meet us at 11:30 am at the entrance to Black Creek Pioneer Village.
The approximate cost for entrance to the Village is $15 for adults and $14 for students. Please bring your own bag lunch or money to purchase lunch at the Village Brewery.
Please bring tokens or exact change for the TTC. The commute is approximately one hour from Museum Station. Black Creek Pioneer Village is TTC accessible, being just a bus ride from Downsview Station. The bus line is 106, but please use the TTC trip planner at www.ttc.ca if you are unable to meet us at Hart House.
