The Hart House Archery Club offers a unique opportunity to learn a new skill in the heart of Toronto. For beginners and experienced archers alike, the Level I course offers an introduction to the sport and the club, while one-on-one coaching from NCCP certified coaches ensures that this class will cater to any skill level.

 

Mitzvah Technique
The Mitzvah Technique emphasizes proper alignment of the head/neck and spine. Improvements to posture and body awareness can be achieved. Subtle adjustments will help balance the head freely on top of the spine, reducing pressure to the lower back, and increasing flexibility and range of motion to all joints. Anyone who spends much of their day hunched over a computer will enjoy the benefits of Mitzvah.

 

Pilates Mat Classes
The Pilates Method focuses on exercises that properly align and physically stretch and flex all muscle groups. Correct posture and efficiency of movement are emphasized with little or no stress placed on the joints. Combined with the more traditional body sculpting techniques, this course is designed to promote body awareness, increase muscular strength and endurance and enhance fluidity of movements in everyday life.
