Stages Presents Henri Fabergé's Heligoland Follies
A music/comedy series at Hart House

Details: Henri Fabergé's Heligoland Follies is a six-part performance series opening October 6, 2011 at historical Hart House. The highly anticipated follow-up to 2010's Henri Fabergé's Feint of Hart, it features the music of Henri Fabergé and a sprawling ensemble cast of Toronto's finest musical and comedy talent including Kayla Lorette (That's So Weird), Mark Little (Picnicface) and Alex Tindal (Juno Nominee). The series is directed by Henri Fabergé and features Design and Art Direction by Juliann Wilding. 

The year is 1820. A young man seeking answers is drawn into an isolated community hell-bent on achieving the utopian ideal. A matriarch preaches scientific rationality cloaked in a spiritual fervour. Activists, romantics, and despots alike will find more conundrums than conclusions on a mysterious red rock in the North Sea.

The innovative theatrical platform allows for the showcase of comedy, film, music, visual art, and epic narrative theatre.
